Week 1 - 2025

Our first official week of Team 4917’s build season is complete! On January 4th, our team attended a FRC Kickoff, revealing this year’s game. The next day, our team held a strategy session to discuss what our goals are for the robot, and how to approach this year’s game. ​

Each subteam worked tirelessly to prototype and work towards taking the first few steps in creating this year’s robot.
During week 1, Build finished building the different components within our practice field. This was a major accomplishment for our team because being able to utilize in-game components to improve our robot leading up to the competition season is huge! In addition, CAD designed parts that will eventually be going on the robot, and our Business and Marketing team worked hard to send emails to sponsors, cold call businesses, and update our accounting and sponsor spreadsheets. Finally, Software and Electrical were working closely together to make various components to contribute to our robot.
