Bright and early on October 19 our rookies traveled to St.Mary's High School to compete in a preseason competition. Our rookies had a blast, experiencing a competition for the first time.

Our team has also been hard at work over the course of our training season. Aside from rookie training and veteran knowledge expansion, each subteam has taken on special projects to increase productivity and efficiency throughout our build season. Build underwent a complete reorganization, CAD practiced designing entire robot assemblies in under 90 minutes.

Breakfast with Santa

Our team recently volunteered at breakfast with Santa put on by the St Jacobs Optimist Club. There was a great turnout with lots of friendly people and kids. There were lots Opportunities for the kids to have fun, they had a toonie auction, face painting, coloring pages and the opportunity to visit Santa.
