Kickoff - Week 1

On January 6th, FIRST Robotics released 2024's season game allowing us to start planning, designing and building this year's robot. Every year, a local kickoff event is held where WWFRO (Waterloo Wellington FIRST Robotics Organization) teams meet to participate in educational seminars learn about the game.

What is this years game? This year, the game is called “Crescendo”, which focuses on the new addition of the arts in STEM, now STEAM. The point of the game is to shoot or place rings, called notes, into the AMP or SPEAKER to score points. At the end of the match we are tasked with climbing onto a chain.
