Week 10

Our first competition is almost here! Our team will be heading to Barrie, this Friday, for the Ontario District Georgian Event taking place from March 15th to 17th.

It has been a busy week preparing for our first competition!

The build team has been adding their finishing touches on the competition robot and finalizing the wiring. The software team has been perfecting the LEDs and auto alignment for shooting in the speaker and amp. They have also been working on climb and absolute encoders.
The Business & Marketing team has been working with members of the Build team to finalize our pit design to highlight our amazing sponsors. The new design includes green LED lights, medieval aluminum sheet banners, and 3D etches of our sponsor logos on plexi glass to stand out at competitions and recognize our sponsors in a true 4917 fashion!
Lastly, the Drive team has begun training to bring our A-game to the competition and drive us to success!
