Our first official week of Team 4917’s build season is complete! On January 4th, our team attended a FRC Kickoff, revealing this year’s game. The next day, our team held a strategy session to discuss what our goals are for the robot, and how to approach this year’s game.

Worlds in Houston Texas

What an incredible trip that our team had to Houston, Texas for World’s. 11 students and 3 mentors were able to fly down and participate in the competition.

PROVINCIALS in Mississauga

4/15/2024

Team 4917 traveled to Mississauga to participate in provincials. We had a great showing during the qualifications and ended up in third place on the Technology field.

Waterloo Competition

Waterloo is our second competition and we are so pleased with the results. We were ranked fourth after qualifications and finished in third place overall which was a fantastic achievement! We were the captain of the third Alliance.

Week 10

Our first competition is almost here! Our team will be heading to Barrie, this Friday, for the Ontario District Georgian Event taking place from March 15th to 17th.

We had our Pancake breakfast this week!
It had a great turnout with around 200 people. We are always grateful for the space that we use to design and build our robots and had a great time showing people around. It was a lot of fun with delicious pancakes and sausage. Thank you so much to the St. Jacobs Optimist Club for donating the food and their time.

The build team has all the parts they need for the robot, and things are coming together. Our shooter is fined tuned to have a nearly perfect shot everytime

The Business and Marketing team is gearing up for a pancake breakfast. It's a small but meaningful effort to connect with you, our sponsors, and our community and add a bit of camaraderie to our busy schedule. We have also been learning how to use a Cricut machine to engrave parts for our updated pit. Here is the weekly video this week .
