Week 8

We had our Pancake breakfast this week!
It had a great turnout with around 200 people. We are always grateful for the space that we use to design and build our robots and had a great time showing people around. It was a lot of fun with delicious pancakes and sausage. Thank you so much to the St. Jacobs Optimist Club for donating the food and their time.

Our build and electrical team also spent long hours, sometimes until 10:00pm, finishing the competition robot. In just 3 days, the team was able to get the competition robot ready to go. It looks fantastic now and we are pleased with our final design. We can’t wait for our competitions that are approaching very soon! 

Since our team has 2 robots, the software team has also been spending many evenings programming the practice robot and have made great progress. Our swerve drive is running smoothly and our “jet engine” shooter has the notes scoring in the speaker. We are now working on programming our amp shot, climb and trap shots.
